

RMI Bookkeeping Tasks
As RMI Bookkeeper, I have the following responsibilities:

Bookkeeping Inbox:
I monitor the RMI Bookkeeping inbox daily, Monday through Friday, and every second weekend to make sure all emails are promptly handled, labeled, or archived.
I also review all Bookkeeping Google Chats to track and complete assigned tasks.

Capture Donations:
I record incoming donations directly in DonorTools. For other language ministries, I forward donations to the appropriate person for entry into DonorTools and verify that receipts are accurate.

Donortools Spreadsheets:
Each month, I download donation reports from DonorTools and update the corresponding spreadsheets for invoicing. These spreadsheets are also used to calculate ministry tithes.

Check Invoices:
I review all incoming invoices to ensure they are ready for approval.

Calculate RMI Tithes:
At the beginning of each month, I calculate RMI’s tithes and offerings.

Nonprofit Taxes and Certificate of Good Standing:
Once a year, I assist the RMI Treasurer with preparing and filing the nonprofit taxes. I assist the Treasurer each year with submitting the Certificate of Good Standing application.
